Company history
Since the establishment in 1966 norclean is engaged in sales of industrial vacuum cleaners, all kind of blast equipment and abrasives on the Swedish market. Our target is to be market leader regarding environmental products and our cooperation with suppliers around Europe has made it possible for us to present mobile recovery and cleaning systems for e.g. garnet, steel shot, aluminum and iron silicate, which even make it possible to remove contaminated particles of e.g. lead and chrome. In this connection we are carrying on a continuous product development together with our suppliers of personal protection equipment.
The latest invention concerning our industrial vacuum cleaners was our marketing of the pneumatic models in an antistatic execution with ESD approval for use in hazardous environments. Today all pneumatic driven suction units are available in this execution. From beginning we have specialized in different heavy-duty rust protection processes. After 1990 the development of more precise blasting methods with the finest abrasives at lower pressures had advanced to such an extent that we decided to include them into our product range. One of these methods was the Accustrip system which was very positively received on the market. We are also launching plastic media blasting which very fast has been adapted by both defence industry as well as civil industry in Sweden. We have also developed completely new types of blast pots from extremely fast-working pots to constant pressure pots. We are also merchandising different filter units for all kind of blasting operations. The latest innovation research has resulted in a quite different type of nozzle with extreme features. Regarding blast wheel machines our suppliers in Sweden as well on the European continent can deliver everything from the smallest plant up to the absolutely largest ever made in Europe.
In 1998 we have started marketing a sensational invention on the Swedish market – Rutten blast wheels with at least 6-8 times longer life-time than traditional wheels. The curved Rutten blades are resulting in a 30% higher production capacity compared to traditional wheels. The Rutten wheels can also be used together with all kind of abrasives. Some years after the market introduction the Rutten wheel was followed by the exceptional GAMMA wheel with even better characteristics. In June 2008 norclean became a member of the Nederman Group with sales and distribution in more than 50 countries around the world. The head office of Nederman is situated in Helsingborg Sweden.
